Administrator Note:

Since the above photos were posted I was contacted by Andy Lanning of the 324th Entry who made the
following comments.

Gwilym Floyd obviously forgot my name ( I was only junior entry at the time!) but I am the small guy at the
right hand end of the back row. Gwilym is wrong in that the team consisted of 318 – 320 apprentices. I
know for certain than John O’Neil, Mick Landsdown, Sean McQuilkin and myself were all C Flt 324 Entry.
I think Bob Ashburn was E Flt 324 and Steve Long was A Flt 324. Therefore the team would have been
drawn from 320, 322 & 324 entries.
Also, re the 322 Entry photo shot outside Gibson block (ah, the memories!) the DI Sgt on the front row,
second on left hand side is the legendary “Sticky” Smith, Wg Cdr CC Bevan is front row centre and Flt Lt
Vic Last is two to the right of him.
