An Appeal For Information

Of the 8,200 former Apprentice Clerks/Administrative Apprentices our researches have enabled us to attribute approximately 6,850 surnames to
Service numbers. The “missing” 1,350 all fall into the Service number block from 8000005 to 8002157. To help us to complete our lists does any
member from the 311th to 330th Entries have a nominal roll of their own Entry which attributes a surname to a number? Anyone who may be able to
help is asked to contact Bryan Schofield (chairman@rafadappassn.org or 01933 443673).

Following the deafening response (in other words, not a dicky bird) to an appeal in the August 2011 Newsletter; it would be of enormous help if you could
let us know of any Honours or Awards that you were awarded during your service or were awarded to ex-apprentices that you know of. Please
overcome your natural modesty and help us out with this request. It will save a great deal of time and is also an integral part of the Admin Apprentice
history. Your contributions PLEASE to Bob Danes (Publicity Officer) or Bryan Schofield (Association Chairman).

Latest Page Updates

With the completion of the 39th Entry Scrapbook Page, I can now report that as far as I can ascertain, all the pages of the website have been converted
to the new format. I say that with tongue in cheek because knowing me, I will probably have missed at least one! Dedicated site watchers will no doubt
put me right on that one. Wherever possible I have tried to keep both image sizes and other page formats as consistent as is possible. If you do find any
obvious errors or have any other comments please let me know.

I am always happy to receive photographs (not necessarily directly related to Admin Apprentices) but taken at one of our training units. I will post these
photos on the appropriate Unit page as it is quite possible that the odd individual (s) in the photos may be recognised. In this case the photo has been
kindly provided by Clifford East keeper of the RAF West Kirby associations " Hard "Archive. Clifford says that he had recently received it from one of his
